The JAIIB and CAIIB exams are the flagship courses of the Indian Institute of Banking and Finance or IIBF. This institute is known for professional excellence in the sectors of finance and banking. So it goes without saying that not everyone can pass with flying colors. If you need to pass the examination, you do not need to get nervous. However, you do need to get serious. If you are appearing for the JAIIB or CAIIB this year, pull up your socks and start the preparations already. If you are already working on a banking job, you know how tough it can get to manage everything on your own.
Be honest. If you are working 8-10 hours on your banking job, you would not be having much time left. Most of the students put in some last-minute preparations which do not cut it. If you want to crack the exam this year, you would need about 2-3 months of studies to get through them. JAIIB stands for Junior Associate of Indian Institute of Banker, while CAIIB stands for Chartered Associate of Indian Institute of Banker. While the JAIIB aims at providing the maximum basic knowledge in the field of baking technology, basic accountancy, customer relations, banking and financial systems, and legal aspects, the CAIIB offers advanced knowledge.
What should you do if you are a working individual?
So, what should you do if you already have a day job? Well, there are definitely a few steps that you would need to follow in such a case. These golden rules would get you through these tough exams. In the end, you will find that you have actually done much better than you had expected.
- Time Management: You must set up a routine. If you are a working individual, you would be tired through your daily activities. You definitely need to put in some extra effort if you want to get something out of your day. The syllabus is not meager and if you want to cover the entire syllabus before the examination, be sure to make a little progress every day. No matter how tired you feel, try to stick to the routine or make up for a lost time during the weekends. The schedule can help you to get a complete grasp of the complete subject matter.
- Make it a habit to write down points and facts that you feel are important. It might prove to be very helpful while revising before the exams.
- You should start with a subject that helps you to stay focused. The best thing to do is to choose something of your liking or something that is easy. When you start to build your habit of reading, you should not be doing anything that shifts your focus. As you progress, continue to the other subjects and you would not find it very difficult.
- You should be keeping in touch with all the books. When you are preparing for JAIIb or CAIIB, do not get focused only on a single subject. Make sure that you have a good grasp of every module that you are studying. Make sure to work harder for the subjects that you struggle in. You should be circling through all the books at least once a week.
