JAIIB Syllbus Revised
The primary objective to revise JAIIB course is to realign the syllabus in tune with the recent changes in the financial world mainly in banking sector, align with the industry requirements and to enable the bankers to acquire a holistic and deep knowledge about the myriad challenges being faced by the banking and finance industry.
There are four papers in JAIIB exam and each is compulsory to pass in order to get JAIIB certification. The four are papers namely:

- Paper 2: Principles and Practices of Banking (PPB)
- Paper 3: Accounting and Financial Management for Bankers (AFM)

JAIIB Passing Criteria Under JAIIB Syllbus 2023:
The passing criteria under revised JAIIB syllabus 2023 are as follow.
- Minimum marks to qualify in each paper of JAIIB was 50 out of 100.
- Candidates securing at least 45 marks in each subject with an aggregate of 50% marks in all subjects of the examination in a single attempt will also be declared as having passed the examination.
- There is NO NEGATIVE marking in JAIIB Exam
Timeline for Passing JAIIB
The time-limit rule under revised syllabus is as follow:
- A candidate will be given 5 attempts for completion of JAIIB exam but, within a maximum period of three years, whichever is earlier, from the time he/she registers for the exam. These 5 attempts need not be consecutive.
- Candidates unable to pass the examination within the maximum stipulated time period of 3 years or 5 attempts, whichever is earlier, will be required to re-enrol themselves afresh. Such candidates will not be granted credit/s for subject/s passed, if any, earlier
- Time limit of 3 years or 5 attempts, whichever is earlier, will start from the date of registration for the first attempt. Attempts will be counted when he/she applies for the exam, irrespective of whether the candidate appears for any examination or not
Credit for Subject Passed under Revised JAIIB Syllabus Revised
If a candidate already passed Paper 1 (Principles & Practices of Banking) & Paper 2 (Accounting & Finance for Bankers) in the previous syllabus (within 4 attempts and 2 years of span), he/she will get the credit in Principles & Practices of Banking & Accounting & Financial Management for Bankers. He/she need not to appear in these two papers under revised syllabus in May 2023.

- On the homepage, you will see the "Examination/Courses" option. Click on that.
- Under flagship courses, click on "Apply Online".
- Login with your user ID and password.
