Bihar BPSC Head Teacher Online Form and application process
The Bihar Public Service Commission started its official operations on the 1st of April 1949 from its headquarters at Ranchi. The headquarters were subsequently shifted to Patna, the capital of the state of Bihar. Patna continues to be the headquarters of the Bihar Public Service Commission and this commission conducts the competitive examination for various Government jobs of importance. Out of all the competitive examinations the commission conducts, the Bihar Public Service Commission Head Teacher Examination is among the most important. The importance is due to two factors. The head teachers are responsible for imparting primary education to the young minds that will be the future of the state of Bihar. Secondly, around 60 percent of the seats are reserved for certain special categories which will enable the inclusion of less privileged people.
As aforesaid, only around an average of 4 out of the 10 head teacher seats are for the general category. For the year 2022, a total of 40506 seats were available. The unreserved category had approximately 40 percent of the seats. Slightly less than 10 percent of the seats were reserved for the economically weaker sections of society. Around 16 percent of the seats were reserved for scheduled caste category candidates. Slightly more than one percent of the seats were reserved for the candidates belonging to the scheduled tribe category. Approximately 18 percent and 12 percent of the seats were reserved for the extremely backward class and the backward class. Additionally, around 3 percent of the seats were reserved especially for the women candidates of the backward class category of the people of Bihar.
The State of Bihar is one of the rare examples in the world. Bihar was able to achieve a greater gross domestic product than the previous year even during the Covid 19 pandemic. This is a sensational performance during a crisis by the State machinery of Bihar. The entire world moved backward from the previous year but the state of Bihar was able to push forward. Bihar has shown significant growth in its literacy rates in recent times. The educators of the state have contributed immensely to this achievement as more than half of the total GDP of the state was fuelled by the tertiary sector of the state. The tertiary sector of any economy is the most modern knowledge-driven sector of the economy. According to research, the growth of the tertiary sector of an economy is proportional to the growth of education in the economy.
Therefore, education is being seen as a tool for growth by the people of Bihar as well as the Government of Bihar. This is a good time to get into the education machinery of the state of Bihar, especially as a Head Teacher. There are plenty of growth opportunities and it is a position that gets the respect of one and all in society.
