JAIIB/CAIIB Books 2023: Updated Syllabus

• The IIBF has introduced changes in its flagship courses i.e. JAIIB/DBF/SOB/CAIIB Syllabus which will be implemented from May/June 2023 Examination. 
• The main objective of the Revised Syllabus of JAIIB/DBF/SOB/CAIIB is to align the students with the recent changes in the financial world.
• The changes will help the candidates to achieve intense knowledge regarding day-to-day challenges in the banking and finance industries.
• In the current scenario, the banking and finance industries require skilled and competent manpower to face day-to-day challenges. 

There is a message from the IIBF CEO on the Revised Syllabus of JAIIB/DBF/SOB/CAIIB.

• The banking industry has undergone a paradigm shift in the last decade.
• Competition from NBFCs, Fintechs, changing business models, disruption due to leveraging technologies, and the growing importance of risk and compliance have contributed to this radical shift.
• All the above challenges can effectively be managed only by a skilled and competent workforce.
• A survey has found that the skill gap in the BFSI sector is continuously widening. 
• To realign the JAIIB and CAIIB courses in line with the industry requirements, the Institute consulted the industry leaders extensively to get their feedback. 
• A high-level Syllabus Revision Committee comprising representatives of various banks painstakingly examined all the aspects and recommended the revision.
• There will be 4 compulsory subjects under JAIIB and 4 compulsory papers & one elective paper under CAIIB.
• The examination pattern of all the flagship courses under the revised syllabus will be in the MCQ format. The negative marking concept has been introduced to forbid the aspirants from guessing and selecting the options randomly.

When the JAIIB/CAIIB Books 2023 will be made available?

• Students should start their preparation well in advance of the exam dates.
• Hopefully, JAIIB/CAIIB Books under the revised syllabus 2023 will be made available from Dec/Jan 2023
