UP's district Bhartaul becomes first village in state to have RO water

The Bhartaul village in Bareilly district of Uttar Pradesh has become the first village in the state to have RO water in every household.
The achievement comes under the Adarsh Gram Panchayat initiative.
Till now, four RO plants have been set up in the village with an aim to make clean drinking water available to all. It will save people from water-borne diseases.
The village head Pravesh Kumari is in charge and has been taking care of the RO plants in the village.

Mohla-Manpur-Ambagarh Chowki becomes the 29th district of Chhattisgarh

Chhattisgarh CM, Bhupesh Baghel has inaugurated Mohla-Manpur-Ambagarh Chowki as the 29th district of the state.
It has been carved out of Rajnandgaon district.
Rajnandgaon district had a large area and people spend their entire day to reach the headquarters. This has been reduced to 70 kilometres with the inauguration of the new district.
He is scheduled to inaugurate Sarangarh-Bilaigarh and Khairagarh-Chhuikhadan-Gandai as the 30th and 31st districts of the state.

Karnataka government has appointed Kannada actor, Sudeep as the brand ambassador for ‘'Punyakoti Dattu Yojana', a cattle adoption scheme.
The aim of the scheme is to encourage adoption by the public for the purpose of rearing cattle in 'goshalas' (cow shelters).
The actor has decided not to charge for being the ambassador of the scheme.
The scheme was launched in July and any individual or an organization can adopt a cow by paying a total of Rs 11,000 for one year.

Hardeep Singh Puri (Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister) has attended the Gastech Milan-2022, that scheduled to held in Milan, Italy.
The Minister will chair the “India Spotlight: Powering India’s energy industry - new avenues for a sustainable future” panel discussion.
He will also participate in the select Ministerial Panel of the Opening Ceremony along with Egyptian Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources and State Secretary of Energy of Portugal.

Department of Science and Technology (DST) has decided to set up India’s first Night Sky Sanctuary in Ladakh.
This proposed dark sky reserve will be located as part of Changthang Wildlife Sanctuary in Hanle, Ladakh.
It will give a boost to Astro-tourism in India and will be one of the highest places in the world for optical, infrared and gamma-ray telescopes.

National Teachers Day is observed every year on 5th September in India to commemorate birthday of country’s first Vice President and second President Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan.
On this occasion, Environment Ministry launched Prakarti khoj, an environment awareness initiative. It is an online environmental quiz competition conducted at national level.
Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan was born on 5 September 1888 in Thiruttani in then Madras Presidency of British India (now in Tamil Nadu).
He was Indian philosopher and statesman and one of best known scholars in field of comparative religion and philosophy in India in 20th century.
