- Mr Musk terminated Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal, CFO Ned Segal and legal affairs and policy chief Vijaya Gadde, according to people familiar with the matter.
- He had accused them of misleading him and Twitter investors over the number of fake accounts on the platform.
- Mr Musk’s takeover of Twitter will not change India’s expectation that it must comply with the country’s existing and upcoming new IT rules, Electronics and IT Minister Rajeev Chandrasekhar told Reuters.

- Each committee, which will have the power to overturn content moderation decisions made by social media platforms, will consist of a chairperson and two wholetime members appointed by the Centre, of which one will be a member exofficio and two shall be independent members.
