- Swashbuckling Indian batter Surya kumar Yadav was on Wednesday named the ICC Men’s Cricketer of the Year for his remarkable run in the shortest format of the game.
- Surya kumar beat the likes of Sam Curran, Mohammad Rizwan and Sikandar Raza for the top honour.
- Smriti Mandhana lost out to Australia’s Tahlia McGrath in the women’s category.
- Talented youngsters Marco Jansen and Renuka Singh were named Emerging Cricketers of the Year.
